The Program Design
- Dr. Iyanla Vanzant, the founder and director of the Inner Visions Institute, believes there is a critical need for the integration of spiritual knowledge and human experience. In this way, the coaching environment can become a bedrock for the evolution of human consciousness through the elimination of mental and emotional limitations. A Spiritual Life Coach is one who understands how life works when it is aligned with the flow of the universe and, has mastered the information, tools and processes required to support the transformation of others.
- Spiritual Life Coaching is a practice and a process that utilizes a specific approach to coaching that is designed to facilitate and support a deeper awareness and acceptance of who you are as a unique and divine individual. The intention behind the Inner Visions integrated approach is for our students to be aligned with the principles of personal and spiritual development as well as the accepted standards, practices, and requirements of professional coaching. This means our approach; our language and the results achieved are aligned with the student’s individual authentic identity as; “a spiritual being having
a human experience.”
- The curriculum of the Inner Visions Institute Spiritual Life Coaching program is designed to prepare students according to the highest standards of professional coaching; while grounding them with the skills, tools, principles, laws, experience and knowledge necessary to be aware of and guided by their intuitive spiritual nature.
- The essentials of the IVISD SLC program include and are subject to modifications based on student needs.

The Program Approach
IVISD coaching program is an experiential program where the students, themselves, are their first client. IVISD SLC students will learn how to make self-loving, self-honoring choices and decisions in the areas of their lives they desire to heal and transform

The IVISD SLC program is for you if:
- You have a minimum of 2 years professional experience in one or more of the following areas: coaching, spiritual transformation, counseling, social work, ministerial, human resources professionals, leadership development, communication, manager & supervisory training AND have completed personal development work AND/OR
- You are intrinsically motivated with a strong desire to engage in personal development work
- You have a willingness and believe in the power of healing within community
- And you are committed to personal growth and spiritual development while supporting others to enhance their own lives and the lives of others
IVISD Spiritual Life Coaching Program Intentions and Learning Objectives:
- A student shall embody and demonstrate a spirit of service and offers support through spiritual life coaching that benefits the evolution of human consciousness and the elimination of human suffering
- A student shall develop and/or deepen a daily, consistent spiritual practice
- A student shall integrate and apply the coaching skills, tools, principles and laws into their daily life experience and demonstrate proficiency in supporting clients in doing the same
- A student shall develop and manifest a personal vision
- A student shall demonstrate knowledge and commitment to the ethics and standards of conduct of Spiritual Life Coaching
